Hi Liz :D

I'm so sorry you're finding the craves hard at the moment, but hang in there it will get easier very soon

A lot of us suffer badly in the third week, but it's psychological rather than physical

The Nico  Demons are desperately trying to get you back in their power continue to starve them as you have been and it will soon get better and easier to ignore them

Read some of the many links in our signatures to help you OK

Get through tonight and you'll be so proud of yourself Have an early night if need be just don't smoke

Love

Hiya Liz. Look on this as a little test for you, or even a big one if you like. The last couple of days I could have smoked again if I wasn't determined not to. I'm sure you (like me) will get through it ok and be stronger for it. Well done on your 2 weeks 2 days, and in a minute it will be three weeks, great eh. David

Hi, I read a great tale regarding facing the cravings which gave me the inspiration to push on through. I am going to sound like an old broken record as I have posted this already today, but have a read talesfromthequit.com/fear-r.... There are many other good articles on there but this one struck a cord with me and helped me out of a craving hole. They do get better. I nearly had a crash today, spun the car and just missed others. It did not even cross my mind to smoke. And yet 3 months ago I would have eaten my own fingers for a fag some days. Keep positive and remember, smoking will not make anything any better.

Good for you! Glad to see you are still going strong! I get what you are saying re deciding just to be stopped. I also went through that. I then relaxed into it a bit. Thats not to say there have not been hard times since but certainly manageable. xx

That's it Liz, sometimes that's all we can do, keep hanging on. I've had a queer couple of days, wanting to verbally lash out and getting ratty with people, though I can't afford to do that with the people I work with. Grandaughter woke up about 2 this morning so I climbed in with her, and for about half an hour I was laid there wishing I still smoked, stupid, isn't it, I have no intention of smoking but it's still there. Like you say though Liz "Keep hanging on". David
