Yes he is,Ive told him what you said lol. We had a great day today went out for a meal at dinner time first time since we have stopped and really enjoyed it not having to rush off to go outside for a cig. Then went to visit his two brother who both smoke, wow they stunk. We both felt fine, we have been putting it off but really missed them so glad it went ok

Friends and smoking!!!

Hiya Trendy,

You and Mark are doing great.......

I have friends who both smoke and I really love them dearly. I would never stop seeing them just because I no longer smoke, ......However my hubby has NEVER smoked and I am only now realising what he has endured over the years. Three of us all smoking of a night out, or just at home having a few drinks and a gab. It must have been awfull for him in all that smoke.

For the last 5 or 6 years of my addiction, I never smoked in the house, and smoking friends or relatives would come out to the garden for a cig. (Actually got some of them into the same routine at their house too.) When I walk in to my best friends house however, it reeks of stale smoke. I cant say anything....it's not my house, BUT, it absolutely stinks. We all went in their car on Saturday to the garden centre, and honestly I wanted to throw up, the smell of "ashtray" stayed with me for the rest of the weekend. I'm sorry if I sound horrible, but thats how it was, and I cant stand the smoker smells anymore.............arrgghhhhh. Rant over........... Love J. x

Rant as much as you like just don't rejoin them

Most of my friends smoke as well,but not in my home anymore, but when I go to their homes it's awful

First job on getting home is clothes in the wash, then hop in the shower to get rid of the stink

Well done you two. Its great to see you racing along! Andy and I had our first BBQ outing without either of us smoking on sunday but with family who do. It was great (though the food was pretty poor!, must have passed us by in the past with our tastebuds knackered with smoking!)
