Hey don't stress

Hey jad,

Don't stress. This may sound rather obvious, but quitting smoking is one of the hardest things in the world. Not easy, by any means.

A tip: Avoid alcohol, at least until you feel certain you are able to cope with it. Put it this way: What is more important, having some drinks for a couple of weeks, or an extra ten years to your life? This I think puts in context, and I apologize if it sounds harsh .

I'm sure you'll manage it, remember to prepare plenty for the next (last) quit, and also, make sure you post on the first day, to get all the support, it really helps.

Good luck buddy,

Love P. x

Hey Jad

Jad - not to worry the only thing that has made sure I have stayed away from cigs is the fact that I stayed away from alcohol too - not saying this in a mean way just that it is a lesson learnt and you will know next time you quite to give up alcohol for a while too as this is the onyl way it works properly - alchohol totally destroys all will power and if i had been drinking over the past 11 days there is no way I wouldve made it this far - so dont beat yourself up just focus on your next attempt.

Some friends are holding a party for me tomorrow night for my new move and I am hoping that I cant stay smoke-free then - it wil be my first big alcohol no-smokign challenge! Fingers crossed - as i say dont worry just get back on the horse again!
