I have just joined the forum today and this is my third day of non-smoking. I have had many many past failed attempts but am really hoping to do it this time. Have been reading your posts over the past few days and I am really hoping I can keep the same strong willed attitude throughout this. I am going cold turkey this time as I had used patches and as soon as I took them off I ended up having a cigarette!
I hope everyone is doing well!

Many many thanks for all of your well wishes - am really hoping to do it this time. My biggest problem is the weekend! I am afraid of the weekend - this is when I always end up drinking wine and therefore smoking.
This weekend though I am planning not to drink at all and give myself the best chance possible of achieving my goal this time
