I wonder what my mouth feels like clean?

I have smoked since I was a small child, and wonder, what things really taste like and what the air really smells like!

My main reason tho, is for my kiddies. I want to watch them grow into adults, I want to see them get married and have children. I want to play with their children and spoil them rotten!

I also want to feel healthy and energetic, not lethargic and stinky.

I don't want to feel outcast or embarrassed by smoking anymore (hmmmpffff....I can remember feeling included and cool long ago for smoking! lol). I don't want to go to my kids sporting events and have to go stand out on the street because I have to have a stupid cigarette.

I don't want to go out for dinner and nip out between courses for a smoke and come back reeking.

I want to brush my teeth and feel a fresh mouth for longer than 10 minutes.

I want to save money and buy myself the things I go without because I am wasting it all on cancer sticks.

Hi Ali :D

Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good

You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathiseing with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad

Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be

You can have and do all the things on your list I promise and more besides

I also quit with the aid of Champix and have now been quit almost 5 months and I smoked for over 50 [yes 50]yrs so if I can so it can you OK

Remember though that the Champix like Nrt etc is just that an aid and you will still need that willpower of yours

All the Best

Marg
