Hi EBTG... even though you had a " strop " which is what I call it.. you still sound cherpy and up for it which is BRILL
I know not all people fancy taking sleep aiding pills... but just thought I would let you know about some pills that Asda sell called Sleepaid. There is anti Histamine in them and some other things that make you nicely drowsy at bed time. I have tried them, and they did help me to relax enough to get over to sleep ( I really struggled with sleep in the first few days of my quit )
Even though it's a struggle and these frst few days are more about toughing it out than anything else, it gets better surprisingly quickly.
Hang in there and very soon you will be feeling a lot more relaxed with it.
You have a very simple choice to make this morning (in fact you probably made it already).
Smoke or not?
Choose freely but choose wisely. And then stick by that decision for the rest of today - no matter what.
Then tomorrow, make the choice again.
You are doing superbly - day 2 is great! If you need some distraction from your mind playing tricks, then read some. The links in my signature are a great place to start
Im still here, feel ill and sorry for myself had a minor arguement with my son and ended up in tears !!
Its a battle but im still hanging in, didnt sleep last night, feel tired.....gonna have a early night tonight and hopefully will get some sleep.
Glad to see everyone is hanging in there too. Come on we can do it !!!
This is going to be so worth it
EBT GIRL
Sorry for that but there are people out here who hope that one day they will feel as ill as you do at the moment cos that would mean they have quit.
I know one of them personally. I feel like hell every morning but not because I've quit but because I'm still on 3 packs/day and hate myself for it. So please hang in there.

Good to see you are still around, bioxx........ it takes some time to get in the right frame of mind, to have a plan ready that will work for you. Post, ask for help, ideas, etc if you need...... BUT don't hate yourself for still smoking. Like most smokers you want to quit and I am pretty sure you will get there..... most of us have and we were just as addicted as you (BELIEVE ME).......... but in the meantime you might as well 'enjoy' smoking (if there is such a thing) as a negative attitude is only going to feed anxiety. So smile :):) Your time will come when you are ready. A bit cliche but it's true.

Because of your plan I'm here. I'm not much of a forum person but that reading and writing can certainly do no harm to the process of getting my mind 'fixed'.
