hi, new on here. Not really sure what day this is, technically the second day I guess. I started by cutting down from 20 a day with the aim of stopping last Saturday - failed, then Monday - failed. Finally yesterday managed to complete 24 hours smoke free, bit I am really struggling today. All I can think about is having a ciggie. I am at work, I am busy but still this constant nagging thought about smoking.
When will it get easier? I really need some light at the end of the tunnel.

You're not called Candowilldo for nothing! Just keep going and hang on in there. I'm in the same boat as you, day 2 and counting.
Be proud that you've managed day 1. You don't want to have to go back and do day 1 all again, so keep going, bit by bit. As they say slowly, slowly catchy monkey!
it does get better. I hated the niggly worm feeling the most. It snipes and gripes at you constantly. Dont give in to it. Try and ride it as best you can. I promise with all of my heart it lasts for a very short time. Then the sun comes out and the world becomes a brighter place. Try to be positive and welcome the niggles rather than dwell on them. xxxx
