Sorry, I have not given an update for a couple of days, busy and honestly petrified at the moment. I have a huge crave and I have to restrain every fiber in my body to go down the supermarket to get cigarettes...
I think I will not do it but have no idea if that is going to be the case... I will keep you posted on this.
Still, day 9, no cig, no tar, no nicotine, no anything...
Thanks for reading,
Fergus

Fergus don't do it, look back at your other posts and you'll see how hard your struggle has been, you don't want to relapse and then restart the whole cycle again, try and be strong for one more day.
Thanks for the messages, only 1/2 an hour to go and the temptation will be gone... I will be fine although I have to say that the all caps/bold letters scared the crap out of me!
I read something like this when I was struggling at about day 10. It was about climbing a mountain - it's a struggle at times, sometimes you reach a bit of a plateau and it gets a bit easier, then you think you're near the top only to find there is more to struggle up ahead. It is tough BUT not as tough as if you fall off and have to start climbing from the bottom again.
You are quite a way up that mountain - DON'T slide down it again, it's hard starting from the bottom again.

DONT DO IT.
Just think of all the effort you have made and keep telling yourself that you control the craving. It isnt you wanting to smoke its your body craving the nicotine but we all believe in you and we all support you. Go on you can do this you can stop for good.
