Starting week 10

Just starting week 10 today. Feeling fine at the moment and dont want a cig at all but I have heard that for some reason week 10 can be difficult for some people so I'll keep on my toes !!

Congrats!!

Don't worry too much about week 10, but the truth is that any time can be tricky.

All of a sudden a crave or trigger comes from nowhere and takes you by surprise.

To smoke requires you to put a cigarette in your mouth and light it.... to not smoke requires you to do nothing.

So don't worry about it, but do be ready to choose to ignore it and do nothing

Sounds like very sound advice, many thanks. I'll certainly be on my guard and just ignore any cravings for what they are.

Slightly off topic, I went to a market yesterday and smokers were everywhere, cigars, cigarettes, pipes. Stalls selling all manner of smoking objects and tobaccos. It didnt make me crave a smoke in the slightest. It didnt annoy me either, in fact some of the smells were quite nice in themselves, the cigar and pipe smells particularly.

Just odd how smoking is still rife in places like a street market.

I had to smile at the way people see things you went to a market and people happily wandering around smoking no problem

I remember just before I quit I was at a bus stop minding my own business fag in hand along the pavement comes this "lady" posh voice and all as she passes me demands put that out and walks on by wasn't even catching a bus
