Hello again. As Dubbs appears to have disappeared with his diary, I thought I'd just pop in to say I have completed 15 months today!!! I'm so pleased to see so many old "friends" still on the forum and the new ones doing so well!!
I never believed that I could have come this far - it certainly hasn't been easy but so worthwhile. My quit meter on my desktop says that I have saved over £3,500 and I can quite believe it. As some of those who were around early in my quit, I put £20.00 a week away separately and simply on that money I've had two holidays and now just had an en suite loo put in my cottage!!! It isn't simply about what you save but what you don't spend in addition whilst buying cigarettes!!
By the way, BibleBlack, I'm not a moderator but I'm sure that some clever clogs will be able to work out who Mod 3 is by virtue of the fact that he/she admitted they had only been a forum member for four days longer than BB!!
I do like to keep popping in as a guest and see that same good hearted banter still going on

Well done on 15 months. Great stuff and isn't it great the things we can now afford that ciggy money has been diverted!
It's good to see you pop in and out with your news and observations. Important to check on the overall health of the forum. NSD seems to just give it cursory service - somethings never change :rolleyes: Can they not move with the times and embrace the inclusiveness fostered within the members.
It is quite puzzling this thing with Dubbs and the line through his name. Mod 2 tried to sell it as an administrative procedure to patch over until the weekend had completed. But no change there. We all do love a mystery don't we.
One of the changes I did notice was that Mojo-Jojo also had the line of limbo through his User ID over the w/end. But on checking a couple of days ago it has been removed and now states 'banned' underneath. That is just utter stupidity on Mod/NSD's parts...and shaming to some of the membership that remember MJ's unique character. Ahh, the confidence they instill in quitters is just second to none.
I'm sure that most members new and old will welcome your periodic date checking.
