Tony - you are a real inspiration. 12 weeks/3 months whatever - is fantastic, you have real strength to have quit after so long smoking.
I'm sorry you blanked when fishing but again you have inspired me because I love fishing but haven't been since quitting. I am slightly panicky about going because it is something that I associate with smoking!
But now I know that you have been fishing and have not needed to smoke then neither do I.
I will enjoy breathing the lovely clean air at the lake and enjoy the fact that I'm not spoiling it by lighting up!

Try not to get too panicky. Did my first fishing session post smoking at the weekend and t.b.h. it didn't bother me that much. Drank gallons of tea instead.
I'm more and more on the page of not letting not smoking stop me dong the things I enjoy but associate with smoking if that makes sense. Bit of face the fear and do it anyway

Yet again - an inspiring quote - 'don't let smoking tell you where you can and not go'
Thanks Tony! I am so relieved to be free and not controlled by the fags anymore yet I am still allowing them to intimidate me! I will go fishing - but it'll have to warm up a bit. I'm a bit of a fair-weather anglerette!

All you fishermen (or women!) who ain't tried it...
A bright, clear & crisp winters day fishing is quality. As long as you've got the right clothing it's top notch. As Tony say's try it, you never know..........:D
