Although I've "given up" for longer, this is probably the first time I've gone a complete calander month without as much as a drag, in twenty odd years of smoking.

I'm starting to come round to thinking I'm somebody who used to smoke, rather than someone who is off them at the moment. I'm finding it incredibly easy. The odd little thought still slips into my head that I wouldn't mind a cigarette right now, if I still smoked, but since I don't it doesn't bother me. More a prompt than an urge.

Fingers crossed the next month will prove as easy.

I hope you feel suitably proud of yourself, but please to be aware that a bad moment can creep up on you.... like the scout's... be prepared

..... well done...... but if you have one now then the nature of the beast (been there a couple of tmes) is that you will have another.. thinking hey I can do this... no problem... and sooner than later the BORG will suck you back in.... Be PROUD... Be STRONG.... be glad you have come this far... and look in the mirror... see that smallish truck.... in the back with the oil burning plumes of smoke out of the tailpipe... remember how bad it was when you passed it.... the choking fumes... you had to close the window... and you thought what a filthy b@5tard..... well he is smoking out someone else.... keep driving.....
