OK its been quiet for a couple of days.

I do hope that means we are all doing great with our quits!!

But still nice to hear from everyone, from time to time. Anyway, I'll start

I'm fine and my quit is feeling quite secure for the time being.

i had a really stressful and emotional day yesterday as our mortgage fell through and my husband got told he was working christmas and boxing day. had one of them "i need a fag" hours...well actually about half a day!!!

i didnt cave which im pleased about but it just added to the upset even more that id felt that way when feeling so stressed

feel a bit more positive today though and im sure il be right as rain if i can manage to actually sleep tonight

I'm feeling mighty fine but for the fact I'd have been posting my war and peace length 1 year post today if it hadn't been a leap year. *and breathe*

Well done ld13. A smoke would not have made the situation any better, a darn sight worse in fact.

In January we will hopefully see 2 things

A host of fresh quitters and a subsequent huge surge in Nics post count;):D

I'm doing ok so far.

Had a really stressful few days as we have adopted a puppy from the RSPCA who prefers howling to sleeping at night!.

Haven't slept properly since last Friday night so am now beginning to feel like a zombie!

So tired I even managed to completely forget to put my patch on yesterday and didn't realise until past lunchtime. Have therefore 'forgotten' again today to see if I can get off nicotine once and for all!

Just checked my quitmeter to see I haven't smoked for 50 days and I don't want to lose that for anything.

I'm still quit and finding it really easy at the moment.

Not hanging around the forum for the most part of my days is helping - but I do still intend to keep a track of whats going on. As I said, you ain't gettin' rid of me that easy.

Hi Nick,

Still lurking around - now got the energy to get things done I'm trying to complete a huge list of things to be done before I go back to work.

Yesterday finished Christmas shopping and wrapped all presents. I have never been so organised in my life - but then again I've never been off work for six weeks either :D

Going back on a part time basis next week with the hope that I can increase the hours gradually getting back to full time. Spoke to a collegue yesterday who said it is total chaos (I work in financial services)......so think I'll be back to afteroon naps next week!

Think I may have more "odd, somethings missing" moments when I get back to work so the posting rate may increase again ;)

On the plus side returning to work is one step closer to returning to bike & gym which I've told I will be allowed in the new year.
