7 Months Today

7 months ago, on a Saturday (23rd Feb) i attended an Allen Carr stop smoking course in Glasgow.

I didn't really think , beign truthful, that i would stop after it but i had paid my money and decided to give it a shot.

I don't know what happened (i have some idea's about it but thats for another day) but here i am 7 months down the road today and i have not had one ciggie, or even one puff.

And it feels BRILLIANT!!!!

I would never have thought i could get this far......i was a commited smoker for 30 years, 25 a day for the last few of them (thats scary) but i know now that i will NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF!!!!.

And i know its a cliche but if i can do it then anyone can!!!!!

Well done. 7 months is a long time and a big acheivment.

You sound very positive and it is posts like these that help those of us still in the early stages.

Don't get me wrong, I am very confident that I can do this... that I WILL do this, but sometimes it hard to see past the here and now.
