First of all my apologies to all those I have let down.
Janmountain.............................I thought you were on holiday
Please set a date and jump back on.
1 We miss you.
2 You worked way too hard to slip back now.
3 You smell of cigarettes.
Hurry back
Secondly, I miss you all too and could kick myself for sliding at this time and I do not want to smell of cigs, gary.
I have been thinking about this most of today and have decided to re-start my quit next Tuesday 26th August.
You know I have been so embarrassed and ashamed to come back on here but since I have I have felt a lot easier about things. Many thanks for all your support and will see you Tuesday, but probably will still prowl until then.

Don't feel embarrassed or ashamed, angry at yourself maybe, but we are not here to judge but to support as you have supported many yourself.
Think of it this way every failed quit is one closer to the one that will be for keeps. I've lost count 0f how many quits I have had, one was at least as long as your most recent one, so I know how easy it is to slip up.
Anyway you know what went wrong, you took a puff and you know that there is no such thing as one puff.
Good luck for the 26th, you'll be fragrant again before long.

Thanks Nic - it is nice to know that I am not alone in this and your comments are much appreciated. Yes I am angry but why I am feeling ashamed and embarrassed is after all the support and advice I gave others I went and had a bloody puff (sorry for swearing):o. I need all the boosting I can get at the moment so thanks again.

you know a few of us on here quit using Allen Carr's Easyway SO, my advice (for what its worth) is to read Scandal and if some of that makes sense, then buy the whole easyway book and read that (if you feel you need it).
When you start your quit, watch Joels videos for each day on whyquit and post on here as often as necessary.
Oh and i have heard that promiscuity is great for taking your mind off smoking!!!!!
Sorry to here you have smoked but at least you are quitting again and hopefully have learned what triggered you to smoke.remember before beating yourself up of the 5000+ cigs you did not smoke.......Good luck next week....
What can I say I have almost been there more than once this last few weeks so my thoughts are with you. Well done for quitting again so soon we will support you all we can dont beat yourself us it could be anyone of us. Good luck for tuesday. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Jan you have no need to be ashamed at all, we're all dead proud of you and you always have been an asset to this forum. It would be a shame to lose you. Can't wait until your back in full flow. You know we're all here for you so don't worry xx :D
Aww thanks sooo much for all your support and advice. I am determined that I will succeed next time even more so than last.
Jude - thank you for keeping me part of the team it means a lot.
Phil - I am not sure what made me smoke other than my job isn't safe at the moment and personal matters of late haven't been too good with my son but I am coming to terms with these and no it didn't make things better so I will know that if I have any more upsets and stress in the future a cig won't be the answer.
Wkdfairy - these are for you xxxx - bless.
Gary - thanks for that and no I won't do it again. I daren't in case you come looking for me.
Nite nite see you soon everyone.xx:)
PS - I have also told them at work so I will have them to answer to them as well.
Don't feel bad, I've been down that road. You have supported me all the way through mine even my blip, so see you on Tuesday where we will all be here waiting.

Have a good Bank hols.
Thanks Chadwick
Hope everyone has a great weekend and the weather picks up. Ebor week was a total disaster here completely abandoned and it was the last race meeting too. York didn't do too bad out of it though as people kept turning up for the races and just came into town. It was the pubs and restaurants near the race course that suffered most.
I think you are extremely brave to admit this to us all. As you may have been from some of my recent posts, I have very nearly been there as well. I don't know what gives us the urge to smoke again when we have been off it for so long. In my case I am finding it very hard to deal with my husband still smoking (albeit rollies). I've tried to persuade him to stop but he won't because he's not ready to.
Stay positive - you have given lots of others good advice in the past - new members or long standing members, we're all in the same boat and ready to throw anyone a lifeline!!
Sorry u fell good luck for tuesday, i know u can do it.
i am so close to smoking its untrue, and all for the wrong reason (vanity) thought id got over that but obviously not. Have to keep reminding myself that ciggies are not an acceptable slimming aid, lol.
Gary dont go there with the fat jokes i am up a dress size and its poo wont need a bloody rubber ring to keep me afloat i have my own, hopefully there will be alot of huge women in Turkey

I would just like to commend you on your restraint re the obvious size jokes.
its good to know that there are still people like yourself out there who would never stoop to such low remarks and who can hold them back when it seems to be easier to make them!
