Suzy
Your doing great well done - certificate, I never got one of them just a bucket full of patronise! Ah well I'll make me own
Now I like that idea.
I guess its:-
Bronze - A week
Silver - A Month
Gold -A Year
Platinum - A Lifetime - don't know when you'd get that one
Perhaps the ladies on the site could suggest that their OH buys them an item made from the said material on the various milestones! In which case maybe we could add in; Saphire, Emerald, Ruby and Diamond at appropriate points.
Cheers
Nic
bronze
funnily enough yoou dont actually get a bronze, when i got told i had my silver i said i aint even had ma bronze yet n everyone looked at me gone out lol i just sed what who dont have a bronze silver and gold lol.
n it certainly is why were the dynamic duo philip. x
Well done, Suzy!
I didn't get a medal either
Nic, I think I should get a gold for 6 months, then a diamond for a year, yeah?
good idea
that sounds like a great idea however i showed my OH that n he didnt look amused, dont blame him i dont like silver would have to go straight for the gold lol
Congrats on the 1 month mark.......Good for you.....
I like the idea of a colour marking our non smoking achievements.
Whyquit have a good range of colours for various milestones and the quitcounter i use (and have recommended to many others) matches them.
They are:
GREEN for 1 month quit
BRONZE for 3 months
SILVER for 6 months and
GOLD for 1 year.
I reckon it would be good to adopt that colour scheme.
In between
Well I'm between Green & Bronze which just about sums up my complexion this morning with my bruises!
But still everyone well done.
Suzy,
I told you that you would soon be advising newbies .. and there you are ..one month on..
WELL DONE YOU!!
pp
thats rite
so you did pru, but i really thought i would cave at the begining ave had such a bad start the first 3 weeks i was a nightmare a complete bitch, but since stoppin i have applied to be a foster carer and becuase i dont smoke i can look after younger children if i get approved by the panel so its been a hard month but rewardin, lets just hope its the start of a new carer and a better brighter future for me and my son. x i really wouldnt have got this far if it wasnt for the support of this forum cos my family havent been there so thank you so much everyone you really dont know what a differemce the help has made to my life.
Go for it Suzy..
You can do it and make a new career and think how much you can help the little ones!
I don't do sentiment but be very proud of your "new life"
