my day ain't going so well!!!

Hi guys,

I'm having a tough day 2day - I haven't had a fag, but I seriously want one. I am currently at the library doing a re-sit essay for college, but I have forgot my nicorette and I don't have any straws 2 use as a fag!!

What do I do? If I go outside, I'll want one - don't hav much money on my person atm!

Don't wane I know the feeling all too well go grab some chewing gum, drink plenty of water - take a brisk walk around and smell the wmelly people with an addiction, you have done so darn well to come this far and I'm talking through my own experiences.

Think of a quit song, you can't think and smoke at the same time, orange juice worked for me.....ranting now!!!!

Think of your wife and child.....

I am ok now - I guess it was only a craving. I feel better now. Think I may go home and relax now, spend some time with the family - parents are out at the moment!! (we all live with my parents, how sad lol)

Day 8 will be over soon - bring on day 9!!!

Well done for hanging in there, there are good days as well as bad days.

Just remember that as time goes on the bad days get fewer and the "dark" moments in those days get fewer as well.

As you have found, cravings pass and you've done so well to get this far it would be such a waste to give in.

I've been back to square 1 too many times over the years and you feel pathetic, weak willed and stupid. Don't let it happen to you!!!!

Stay strong, if I'd given up at you're age I reckon I'd be something like £15,000 better off by now.

Well I've just got home from the library and my mood has gone right up - I'm in such a good mood I don't know what 2 do!

I just found out that the wife and I are expecting our 2nd child!:D Now I consider that a good reason 2 continue without the fags!! I'm gonna need every penny I save lol!!

Things are definately on the up!!
