Hi Jimbo

To be honest i find it harder to believe that you are having trouble givin up something that tastes like it has been rolled in a dirty ashtray, chilli flakes and crushed peppercorns!!!!:D

Good luck

I can believe it.

Into my 2nd week and doing well with lozenges but have concerns that I'm just transferring my nicotine addiction from one delivery method to another.

It'll be interesting to watch this thread.

Cheers

Nic

Hi Jimbo, try weaning off it gradually, Its the same as any aid, you need to use less and less until you are nic free mate. Still you have broken the lighting up habit eh? Hang in there you know you can do it. good luck xxx :)

Hi jimbo

Bit late on this tread but been away hope your doing ok. If your still using the gum try normal gum in between the NRT one. Then when your only having a small amount cut it out alltogether. But dont beat yourself up about it your not smoking thats what counts.xxxxxxx

Hi jimbo

i was in your position, after 3months i decided to come off the gum, and the first day was hell!! i now believe the gum just extends the addiction, so is important to come off.

what worked for me was the really strong airwaves gum, the strength and freshness really helped after 3 days i was chewing less and are free from NRTs'

pick a day which is a busy day, to keep your mind off it, and get some airwaves you will feel much better;)
