1 week today
Well done on one week that's great stuff, your doing really well.
I'm on week 10 and still feel foggy at times but think that's due to all the extra oxygen I'm getting lol, or it could be the Champix.
That first week is a real milestone.
Well done.
Have you any techniques Daytona in how to get rid of the muzzy head?
Well done Rusty. The first week is the big one and now all you have to do is keep doing what you are doing. The nicotine has gone from your body and now you will just have to control your thoughts. I take Champix and was a little foggy for the first week. Bill S.
thanks billsud, how do you begin to start controlling your thoughts? its really difficult to control them when smokers insist on telling you stories of people who have given up smoking and summit bad has happened, thinking these people may be a little jealous that i've actually quit. aren't having any serious pains at the moment only a muzzy head, my nurse says there's no negatives in giving up smoking its all positives
rusty
Hi Rusty, I had all sorts of weird and wonderful symptoms ranging from head ache, soar throat, restlessness, insomnia, quit zits (they were real fun:rolleyes
I couldn't tell if it was the nicotine withdrawal or the Champix.
I didn't care about any of it as I wasnt smoking and that was what was important to me. Day by day things got better and better, just as the people on hear had said it would.
The advise I read on here helped a lot but if you are concerned about how you are feeling then maybe a trip to the doc could be in order
Good Luck with your quit your doing great.
Am now in to day 8 and am finding it a lot better today, my mums helping a lot, she quit years ago, can't actually find 1 negative in my quit, all seems to be positive!
