It continues to amaze me how relatively painless this journey has been, and I hope long may it continue. It can be done folks, with a little common sense and research and a dash of exercise thrown in lol. Or of course, whatever works for you
Its still a pleasure posting here, we have a very strong community at the moment, and I am pleased there seem to be so many longer term quitters around, sharing their experiences and helping out others.
Cheers all
Peace

Peacei am just starting my 9th month and i still sometimes feel as though i need one does it get easier
i am just starting my 9th month, not had a cigerette or even a puff in those 9 months, and sometimes that little man in my head says i need one, does it get easier i do hope so,it has been hard ,but i never want one again but the feeling i get is telling to have one ,help
I've been as far along as you before and I did cave that time. All you can do is take it one day at a time, you obviously want to be a non smoker so try and figure out why you want to smoke after so long.
When this place isn't going daft it is really good and i'm sure John TKDKTDKLDT has some great links for you (that's TKDJohn lol)

Hi man, I hope it will get easier for you. Your at 9 months now, which is a long while, so to be honest I cant say if it will get any better than it already is for you now, but everyone is different, so who knows.
As you said you know its the 'little man in your head' thats the problem now. Any physical effects and problems relating to nicotine passed by months ago. But then the mental fights are always harder than the physical ones. You just have to stick it out and know deep down that you'll succeed, theres no easy answer or quick route I can give you.
This is day 352. Wow, I can feel 366 aproaching now. Stay strong ya'll.
