Back from not so sunny Menorca but am still smokefree!
Wobbled big time at the start of the holidays as it's the first time I've been in close contact with smokers - they were everywhere, like the cockroaches!
And didn't help that it rained solidly for the first three days......
but I'm here, still smoke free and into month two.......
whoooooo
How's everyone else doing?

Wow, well done Jane! So pleased for you. You really are an inspiration to others on here, given all that you have gone through!! Well done.
You might want to have a word with Cosmos in the Day 4 - 7 room, she's posted a thread worrying about going on holiday when she has just packed up the fags. Maybe you've got a few tips for her!
I've been worried about going on my hols and they aren't until august!!!!
I have had a very shakey day, I got up this morning and could've gone back to bed with bottle of wine and 20 ciggs but I pulled myself together and went to work, feel much better now. I was explaining to work mate, in the beginning of the quit it is physical craves but later on in the quit it seems to be mental quits.
Even though I am on NRT (chewing gum) i'm going to read A Carr book this weekend and see if I can get my head around this quit once and for all and try and not take the chewing gum next week...
I hope Carr's book has the same effect on you Della as it did me. It turned my quit right around. The last quit I had I struggled every single day. It was a job every hour to not go down the darn shop to buy fags.
After reading AC's book, I am a reformed person! My attitude is so much more positive and I feel great about not smoking. Hopefully you too will feel this way upon reading the book
You need to change your user name to "DefinitelyThisTime!" lol
I have been quit for 3 Months, 7 hours, 11 minutes and 12 seconds (90 days). I have saved £451.48 by not smoking 1,805 cigarettes. I have saved 6 Days, 6 hours and 25 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 17/02/2008 22:00
