Is it just me... or are the relapse dates seeming like specific areas... 3 is an evil number... 3 days... 3 weeks... and 3 months seem to be big problem areas for people quitting. I've cleared two of those now... and definetly going to be reading lots here until the 3 month mark is well done and over with. I will be safe and happier at 6 months... super happy at a year... and 10 years... well, you all are invited to the party!

I started again after having stopped for 8 months so my "goal" or should I say my "target for celebrating" is Christmas this year

My "goal" is to stay stopped for life :D

In my case, it seems to be 6s and 7s rather than 3s.

Hour 7, days 6 and 7, and day 14 were probably my low points. I remember people going on about days 3 and 4, and they were a breeze in comparison.

That said, today has been VERY bad. I've spent a lot of time in and around small shops, all of which sell fags, and I was >SO< close to buying a pack several times.

I've discovered that playing the radio/music into my ears all the time while out of the house helps a lot, giving me something to think about other than a fag, especially whenever I smell a freeshly-lit one!

I smoked my last cigarette 2 Weeks, 2 Days, 12 hours and 5 minutes ago. I have £135.36 that I haven't spent on 577 cigarettes and saved 2 Days and 5 minutes of my life.
