Not sure if I should be on the day one or as someone who (temporarily) lapsed. I stopped on the 10th March, but had 2 yesterday after huge row with teenage daugher. Made me feel sick of course, but today I feel quite desperate to buy some and start again, which the other rational part of my brain really doesn't want to do! Help...
The more nicotine you pump in your sysem the harder it will be to quit.
remeber the first three days of your quit?
remember why you gave up in the first place?
remember that tight chest and sore throat in the mornings?
remember forcing yourself to go out in the cold and get some fags?
remember how it contols your life just like it is trying to do again, now?
Do you want that all back again?
The answer is simple.
Don't Smoke.
thank you, I know you are right, I just want to get back that incredibly positive mind set that I had in the first week. I really didn't have a problem with it - went out and mixed with smokers & had no cravings that I couldn't manage but now it's all gone tits up. i am going to go home and re-read my Alan Carr book & hopefully that will help. What's the smokeworm one like? anyone tried that?
Yeah, I know how you feel, I quit on 12/3 but lapsed over Easter and am starting quitting again. I think you have to go back to Day 1, though I'm not sure. Perhaps a Senior member could advise us?
