Just writing to say it has been over 4 months for me and no smoking! I bought a Boat with the money I saved. After looking back it seemed so easy to quit for me anyway. I dont hardly even have any cravings anymore and if I do its just really a thought and not a craving.

Just a word of caution, Rek,

4 months after a cold turkey quit was when I fell over again.

That was the longest I ever quit for.

Don't do what I did and assume the war is over.

All the best...and well done, well done, well done!

I was the one who had bleeding lungs and was hospitalized for it. I made a promise that if it wasnt cancer I woud stop and never have another. I never did and I cant believe the determination I had to keep my promise. and I still do feel that way. My cravings were curbed by thinking of coughing up blood every time I wanted one. It stopped the craving quick. Now I can go through the day and not even think of smoking. And what a freedom it is!!;)
