Happy easter to all the NSD stoppers

A happy Easter to everyone who stopped on or around No Smoking Day and has made it into the middle of Week Two!

I'm feeling quite hopeful for myself, despite expecting hoardes of family to descend upon me within the next couple of hours.

My final fag remains safe and unsmoked upstairs and it's there if things get TOO stressful, but as I plan to come out to everyone today (as an ex-smoker!) I'm hoping for a bit of understanding from everyone.

I hope you all have an easy time with whatever family celebrations you have going and I hope none of us overdoes the chococlate eggs to compensate for the lack of smokes! ;)

I smoked my last cigarette 1 Week, 3 Days and 21 hours ago. I have saved £89.07 by not smoking 380 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 7 hours and 40 minutes of my life.

Happy Easter Plumski..... when are you just gonna chuck that ciggy out lols?

I admire you because if it had been me I would have smoked it by now. My friend chucked her ciggys in my bin the other day and I had to pour water in it to ruin them..... knowing that if if didn't i probably would have got one out to smoke it.

Strange isn't it. I have no inclination to smoke but if there was one there I would probably smoke it lol

Hey ho, your doing really well.... good luck with the family today.

I have been quit for 1 Week, 4 Days, 13 hours, 4 minutes and 59 seconds (11 days). I have saved £77.21 by not smoking 346 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 4 hours and 50 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 11/03/2008 22:00

Probably never, or at least not for a considerable amount of time.

As I said somewhere along the line, I don't yet consider myself an ex-smoker. I consider myself a smoker who chooses not to smoke, and that fag is the focus of all my energies - it makes my efforts at remaining smoke-free personal, me against it.

There's been a lot of talk of birthdays among the family (nephew is 10 tomorrow, his mother is 40 in June, and another sis's hubby is 60 in May) and I just noticed that if I stay clean, my birthday in June will be fag-free Day 90 for me. So I have a major target to aim for!
