Managed to get into Day 3 but at 8am already feeling the craving,

we have a family celebration this morning my daughter is being baptised

already having woke up to the snow and having an outfit nightmare Im fearful I'm not going to make it into tomorrow. Today is really the first time I'll be so******ing with other smokers along with the added stress I just hope I can come back this evening having proven to myself and others "I can do it thistime"

Hi Elleb

Try to stay strong and focused today.

You will not only be celebrating your Daughters Baptism with family but also celebrating that you don`t smoke anymore. And you want to post tonight saying how strong you were getting through today, another reason to celebrate.:D

Have a wonderful day

Try to concentrate on the fact it's your daughter's big day and there'll be lots of photographs being taken all over the place. As the mother, you're going to be in a lot of them, and do you REALLY want photos of this historic moment to show you either gasping for a fag, or not being there 'cos you had to crawl off to satisfy a craving?

Stay strong, think positive, and try to think of what the vicar will be going on about, staying pure etc - make it part of your celebration of this occasion that you're not giving in to the demon weed!

P.S. I have a similar thing coming up in a couple of hours and I'm dreading it, but luckily for me there's only going to be one smoker among loads of non-smokers!

I smoked my last cigarette 1 Week, 3 Days, 20 hours and 54 minutes ago. I have saved £89.04 by not smoking 380 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 7 hours and 40 minutes of my life.

Just try to be so glad of the fact that you won't spend the day, YOUR day, sneaking off for a puff every half an hour.

I've only been quit 7 days but i've enjoyed everyday more because i'm doing what i want to do and not what my nicotine habit dictated.

You'll forget all about smoking, you'll see, be proud of the fact you're a non-smoker :D
