Hi Elleb

Hi Elleb

Well done on making it to day 2 :)

I found myself in a similar situation as yourself only my problem was too much coffee drinking.

I favourited whyquit.com and read joel's library any time I needed encouragement.

All the best ;)

Keep going elle, you only have to go for one more day. The next day you do the same thing. Take one day at a time and soon you would have reached a week. I am on day 6 now and still think about smoking a lot even though using champix I dont crave the demond weed. Good Luck with your quit.

elleb, eat, drink, walk, run, move

do anything but SMOKE!!

anyone that can get through day one can get through to the end.

I am on day 5 tomorrow, i am not going to tell you it will get any better, what i will tell you is it will change.

my understanding is different now, i can deal with this monster although it is a fight.

i have gained about 5 pounds, i have been going to the gym every day since i quit and still gained weight. I know i will deal with the weight once i get rid of this b@stard that is nicotine, because losing weight will be easy compared to fighting this monster.

what i will say though is when you and i beat this monster we will by like OB1 Kinobi when Darth struck him with his light saber 'we will be more powerful than you can possibly imagine'.

studies have shown that those that give up smoking and continue to be non smokers through altering the way they think have far more fulfilling, understanding, willing, happier lives than most. When you are free a part of your brain will released which will allow you to understand life as a non smoker, your body will feedback to your brain how it has inproved and your brain will tell your soul how you have changed.

believe me, do not listen or read my words and think i am fantastical, it is true, your feelings, when you search them will tell you so.
