I for one am so excited I had to get up at 4am to talk about it NOT
I went to bed so early last night that I woke up early, plus i'm not sleeping well at all, could be a side effect from not smoking and over excitement at having a gorgeous shiny new motor (brm brm) in the garage.
I'm so proud of the team, we all got to day 5 without stickin a fag in our gub!! Tempting as it was some days, i'll not lie.
The urge to smoke is really easing off but we still have a long way to go, like resisting forever
I hope this insomnia wears off soon and I get back to sleeping properly and WTF is it with the dreams?? I could understand it if I was on NRT but i'm CT, my subconscious mind scares me.
Oh well, have a great day everyone, no smoking on the upper deck DING DING!

Well done to you all. I sympathise with the sleep thing, im exactly the same, im so tired now in the evening im in bed by 10, but then im awake at 2 and still looking at the clock at 3. If im lucky get back to sleep but by 5 its like zing my body decides im awake and thats that.
The only good thing about it is the house is spotless!
Keep up the good work
I have been quit for 1 Week, 2 Days, 10 hours, 19 minutes and 1 second (9 days). I have saved £63.06 by not smoking 282 cigarettes. I have saved 23 hours and 30 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 11/03/2008 22:00
Morning guys. Im craving like mad this morning, really want a cig and all i keep thinking is about going back to smoking. I was alot happier when I smoked, nver been this snappy and shitty.
Plus tonight my other half is off to the rugby and usually I would get the little one to bed order a take away (again!!) have a bottle of wine and smoke watching alan carr! Im dreading tonight and the rest of today!
No you don't hate being a non smoker!! You love how nice it is and how confident you are. Stop hankering after an illusion!!
Look how far you've come this week, you didn't die from not smoking and if you have one you'll hate yourself and be a smoker for life.
Take some of the money you've saved (i'm horrified at what i've saved already) and buy yourself something nice. Leave the wine until you feel better about not smoking. I'm avoiding wine too, which is horrible but think how healthy we'll be!
Im not been awkward, but I bought like 3 sleeves of fags from Spain, so i havent yet seen the affect of the cost. Just need to try and find more positives about been a non smoker but all I can think of is the negatives! Not a good day today for me. But I hope everyone else is doing well and better than me!
Well...day 5, and we've made it this far. Smashing! Well done to everyone.
Wasn't around much yesterday, between docs, smoking cessation, and work. The smoking cessation class was good. It's another avenue to keep me focused, which can only be a good thing!
Glad to hear Team 17 are still smoke free. Hang on in there. Hey...it's nearly one full week! How good is that?
Morning All, glad to hear all of us has reached day 5. Dee, hope the day go's ok and hang in there even if it's one hour at a time. I understand the point of the 3 sleeves, any chance you could sell them at £30 a sleeve? I am also having probs with sleep, woke up at 5am this morning and pottered about until half 5, then thought back to bed as I would be knackered by mid-morning. Went to a shop today and did something random, bought a bloody proper coffee machine!!! I don't drink booze, gave that up two years ago, so thought I'd treat myself. I'm around today so will pop in and out through the day.
