Hi

What is it with the sleep thing. Yesterday I had absolutely no energy at all and hardly did anything. I thought no smoking was meant to give me more energy. And I'm having the weirdest dreams but this could be down to the patch. I seem to going to bed earlier but getting up earlier too.

Day 5 today and the other half has gone away for business for a few days which is good as he's taken his ciggies with him. Must not get too bored myself though as this could lead to temptation. Feel like eating really bad food and settling in front of the telly all day especially as the weather is so rubbish but then I'll just think "Sod it" and buy a packet of fags. Must keep occupied with positive things.

Keep looking forward to Wednesay when it will have been one week and I can go out to Primark and buy (at their prices!) pretty much the whole store with the money I've saved. This way I can buy more and this will give me an extra incentive as I'll think I've saved more than it seems. Cunning!

Off to make breakfast now. Yum bacon, egg and beans

I hear you re the sleep thing. I also feel tired alot since quitting. Its really weird how being nicotine free and of course free of all the other chemicals takes its affect on you. I'm sure it all evens out though.

I am sleeping with the patch on. Maybe I'll take it off tonight and see how it goes - I'll keep a spare next to the bed in case I wake up and feel I have to have to have a fag - unlikely though.

Glad to hear the energy level thing is fairly normal. Hopefully today will be more fruitful and I'll actually do the washing up rather than look at it and go back and lie on the sofa like yesterday.

Good morning Jim, hope you enjoy your day.

Tam - taking the patch off really does help. I have been sleeping really well and although I have stirred in the night I haven't thought that I am desperate for a cig.

Not what you're looking for?
