I can come in here now, it will be 3 weeks on Friday since I had my last cig.

Everyone keeps telling me not to think about cigs but I think that would make me want one even more. I love reading all your stories and they keep me going. And, I love the Quit Keeper especially now I see I've saved over £100.

I'm also saving £10 a week on Diet Coke as I used to drink it after every cig to get rid of the horrible taste in my mouth. Not sure if that's to do with my recent Gastric Flu though as I can't drink fresh orange juice either (and I loved that).

I got some free patches from Boots yesterday but after this weeks course I'm going to try and leave them off and see how I go. The house is smelling better (just stinks of my 4 dogs now, haha) and OH is happy as he didn't smoke and I hated smoking near the dogs too. My sister came today (she's never smoked) and said there was no smell, woohooooooooo.

Funny really, out of 8 of us (I'm the 7th) my youngest sister was the only one never to have smoked (the one above) now I'm the last of us to give up and now none of us smoke. Trust me to be the last to see the error of my ways though, that's typical of me.

Anyway, good luck everyone who's starting tomorrow, you can do it. And thanks so much for this fab forum where I can get backup and inspiration.:)

I have been quit for 2 Weeks, 4 Days, 6 hours, 51 minutes and 57 seconds (18 days). I have saved £101.37 by not smoking 457 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 14 hours and 5 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 22/02/2008 16:49

Wishing your life away :) that is so true, it does have that feeling about it.

I can see myself on my death bed saying "oh well that went quick" and then quoting my quitmeter stats before spitting out my gum and rolling over!!!
