It is twenty one hours since my last cigarette! I feel ok, but I must admit that my children dont like me very much at the minute. I have been very snappy and have shouted much more than I normally would. Hopefully this feeling wont last long. Good luck to all other quitters.

Well Done. Are you children old enough for you to be able to sit down and explain that you may be a bit snappy for a little while.

I did this with my kids and they did seem to unerstand.

I know how you feel I'm on Day 2 and I was snappy with my kids this morning, they're too scared to say a word to me now, I even had an argument with the tv in the kitchen lol, really had to take it out on something :).

Your doing great even though we feel like this, we haven't given in!!

keep at it lozzie.. i,m lucky enough that it was my kids, that gave me the push,, in a way,

it was my grandson in the end,, but now i have made the choice, my kids support me all the way..

keep at it, if you get a bit narky, then come on here and tell us all. we,re here to help..and we ALL know what you are going thru .

Hi flippy, it was my nine year old daughter that convinced me to have another go at quitting. She cried everytime she caught me having a crafty cig and I felt so guilty. She is proud of me for quitting and knows that the mood swings wont last forever! I feel quite low so I am going to bed early.

Going to bed is a great idea. I think i slept for the first week.

Well done Doodles! I'm on Day 2 and have found some of the cravings really hard but you can win through this. Keep strong.

Am off for a fairly night myself - this really seemed to help me last night
