Managed wth a lot of hair tearing etc yesterday. NRT doesn't seem to do much for me. I have my Smoking Cessation Group this morning, so I'll fess up and see what they say! Keep the support coming. It helps so much!

Morning Kenny. Well done for not having a cig yesterday, I can appreciate how hard it is. I almost caved yesterday and bought some but somehow I didn't. I don't know how.

NRT doesn't 'do' much for me either. I'm going cold turkey and I try to use the fact that I have no nicotine in my body now as a booster for my resolve against this awful addiction. Mind, when the craves set in that lil 'fact' doesn't really do alot  But hey, I haven't succumbed and nor will you, not if you really, really want to kick this habit because you know you're gonna have to go through all the nasty withdrawal symptoms to come out the other side no matter when you quit.

I really hope you can do this. What am I talking about, I know you can do this! You've already gotten through half the battle by making a conscious decision to stop and actually 'stopped', so you're half way there!

Well done ;)

Hey kenny, good to see you on day 2.

I'm going cold turkey, i refuse to feed this nicotein addiction any longer. How many were you smoking a day?

I have been quit for 2 Days, 13 hours, 5 minutes and 1 second (2 days). I have saved £29.01 by not smoking 127 cigarettes. I have saved 10 hours and 35 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 03/03/2008 20:30

Hi Kenny,

In answer to your question, this is from the FAQ :

The buddy list is used to keep track of the friends you have made on this forum. By going to your "Open Buddy List" in "Quick Links" menu of the navbar, you'll be able to see which of your friends are currently online and send them a private message. Adding people to your buddy list also allows you to send private messages to multiple forum members at the same time. You may add any member of the forums to your buddy list by viewing their profile or by going to "Buddy / Ignore Lists" in your "User CP".

So the buddy list is mainly for sending private messages to a group of people.

Hypnotherapy

Booked in to see a credible Hypnotherapist tomorrow at 2pm. I'll try anything and everything! I'm struggling too much and hopefully this will help!

Wish me luck!
