can't sleep

I know how you feel I'm on my second sleepless night, resisted getting up for a cuppa because I didn't want to start off a habit so I stayed put, it's going to be a long day, but Eh! just think you aint had a fag so keep that in mind well done you !!!

the not being able to sleep and the distrupted sleep thing does settle down, If I remember rightly it was about 7-10 days for me!!!

Hang in there it really is worth it!!!

Been there too - just remember that getting out of bed and having a cigarette will NOT solve anything!

Well done, you're on your way to being a Non-Smoker! :)

Geez - this is the one thing I hate about quitting - INSOMNIA! It's awful, but it does settle down. Once I eventually get to sleep though - I manage to have the most vivid dreams (when I can remember them), which can be quite entertaining! Can't suggest anything except riding it through. The more I try and relax the more tense I usually become, si I find it best just to get a drink of water and then try and settle again. I've always used patches when trying to quit before, and these made me have awful nightmares, so had to take them off before going to sleep. This time I am attempting it cold turkey, and have not noticed a change in my sleep pattern so maybe that's made a difference. Well done to you all x

I have been quit for 4 Days, 2 hours, 5 minutes and 59 seconds (4 days). I have saved £11.80 by not smoking 40 cigarettes. I have saved 3 hours and 20 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 05/03/2008 20:30
