Just found out my flat mate, who also stopped with me yesterday, had 2 tabs today and has just been and bought a ten pack!! Ive told her under no circumstances can she smoke in the flat but its the fact ill now she is going for one and that there is access to them in the flat!! Especially tomorrow, my day 3 which is suppose to be the hardest day!!!!

your just gonna have to be really strong, otherwise the past 2 days will have been a waste. feel pity for her rather than envy when she has a fag!

Yes, i think going to buy a new top to go out with on saturday, i know its not advised to go out when stopping, but all my friends that i go out with dont smoke and plus with the smoking ban its alot easier and when use to smoke only smoked about 2 in a night!!

Hang in there Manolo - get your flat mate to put her cigs where you can't see them. I found that helped with my oh and he also only smokes in the kitchen so that helps as well.

Manolo... worst case scenario... and one is lit in the flat... you have tons of space outside of the flat to go for a nice long walk to the store... get anti smoke smell spray, come back, and freshen the flat on your way in Best case scenario, you can get your flatmate to hide the smokes somewhere... so you don't see them, and to smoke outside... either way... you win both ways... by not smoking High five on making it to day three, you are doing great!

Oh dear

Kill her then there won't be a problem. On a serious note you really must tell her not to smoke in the flat or leave her ciggies lying around. I gave up for six months once and then came upon a packet of fags belonging to my other half and had one just to see! Needless to say i soon started up again. First it was just one, then two, then just a couple if I was out drinking (not that that's a problem anymore with the smokng ban).

Buy something nice at the weekend and flaunt it in front of her.
