Good luck! I felt confident in my quit to begin with...but then it got tested a few times but guess what? I didn't succumb! So, in your times of hardship, remember us lot here! Doing our best to cope with things also so don't feel alone.
By the way, viking, another member, has suggested we build up a 'team'. I think thats a great idea...a little extra something to give each other a boost. Of course, from my experience of this forum in the two days I've been using it everybody helps everybody else...but being part of a team would be a lil bit like having someone to answer to...well, rather, you would do your best not to let your side down! So let me know if you wanna join.
so far so good. not kicked the cat or anything yet. It's amazing how much i keep thinking about fags (damn them!). i've told lots of people too (i hate to admit defeat to people).
my mouth feels full of saliva today! odd

Because if you drank that much vodka, you'd fall over
Water is calorie free, helps plump up your skin, everyone should drink 2 litres of water a day, it helps to flush the toxins out of your system, drinking water gives your hands and mouth something to do, makes you feel full up so you don't scoff all the food in the kitchen, and too much coffee or tea or cola is bad for you.
You could drink orange juice, but I think I read somewhere even that can be bad for you in really high doses.
Smoking does seem to be on our minds alot when first giving up. Thing is, you haven't had a cig so thats all that matters.
Copy and Paste my sig and add it to your own...may act as another lil boost for you

I have been quit for 17 hours, 56 minutes and 1 second (0 days). I have saved £8.51 by not smoking 37 cigarettes. I have saved 3 hours and 5 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 03/03/2008 20:30
I'm doing it CT. I must admit, I'm not finding it as bad as I was expecting (can ya tell I'm not going thru a crave right now? lol). I have always used NRT products previously. Going CT, I tend to have higher peaks regarding my craves, but when I was using NRT products they kind've made me more niggly more of the time...it was more constant.
I seem to be doing better going CT than using a stop smoking aid.
