I have not been on this site for a couple of weeks now,but I am now on week 3 and finding it HARD. All week I have been stressed and people even keep telling me I look stressed:confused: today was the worst as well cos my little boy was out with his grandparents for hours and I just wanted a FAG!!! feel like im going mad all the time too. My partner has just decided he does not need his patch ( and he was on a higher dose than me) it makes me cross because he smoked heaps more than me. Why is he coping and im not:mad Damn now i sound about 5!!!!!!!). Are all these feelings normal for week 3???
Thanks Again

I'm not as far down the road as you, I'm on day 11 tomorrow but I have been acting like a complete mad woman for the last 4 days. You're not alone in that feeling! I wonder if it hits woman differently (and I'm not being sexist) due to hormones and cycles?
I was so calm in week 1 but week 2 has been insane so far! I fully expect week 3 to be the same, and I am saying to myself "accept it and me for what it is amd ride it out, it will pass"..
I'm sure it will for you any day now, maybe tomorrow you'll feel great. If you don't, hand in there and tell yourself it's not forever, and it's not really you behaving / feeling / thinking the way you are right now.
I wish I had a magic wand I could wave over everyone and make it all go away!
I'm on week 3 too, sometimes I want to cry I feel so bad then other days I'm fighting fit, my husband has also given up he's into month 2 it can be hard when there are 2 quitters in the same house - do stick with have been told by so many people it does get easier - even though I can feel like killing everyone in sight I know I feel and look better - maybe I'm deluding myself but I think some of the wrinkles have disappeared.
Sara, Lady Sa and RoseB, girls please you hang in there because the first month, apart from a few differences here and there, IS the hardest, the most difficult and annoying, the one we'll probably never forget! and the one where we must be very very focused because slipping back can be so easy. I truly believe the energy spent to resist to cravings, depression, sobs and whatever, you name it, by each one of us in the first month could light up the entire world
But hey, you are all doing so good I noticed a sudden improvememnt in my confidence and in my mood between week 3 and week 4, the hard times are about to be over for all of you, please do resist! x x
Sarah, Stick with it. It really isn't worth throwing your last 3 weeks away now. I felt like that when I was on patches but I didn't get through it, It might only have lasted another day but I will never know. That was 6 years ago, since then I have done hypno, and have never got as far along as i did then. Long and short of it is, everyone is different, your partner is probably struggling as much as you but dosn't want to blow your chances of getting through it. Your doing fab and you really dont want to go back to something you wanted so much to get away from. I for one wish I hadn't.
Sara, if you can find it in you, you can join team 428 - toughest quit team on the web - we are up for day 11 tommorow!, bit of a fall back on your current day count but we would be proud to have an exeptional trail blazer in our team!
