I should feel really proud of those stats, but yesterday and today have been the nearest I've come to blowing this quit. Not sure if it's all these blips going round, making me feel I'm missing out. Crazy junkie thought....how come other people have SMOKED and yet are still counted as given up and I haven't smoked and it's not fair. LOL! How old am I? Far too old to be stamping my foot and yearning for something that is KILLING ME SLOWLY. Get over yourself. You don't even want to smoke, you eejit. ;)

Does anyone else have arguments with themselves? You don't actually want a cigarette. Yes I do. No, you're just bored. Sod off. Give me one good reason why you should have a cig and you can have one. I WANT ONE!. Sorry, that's not a reason........

I've bored myself out of wanting one now. Sorry about that. :)

I have constant arguments with myself like that. Not about smoking anymore (they tend to be more biscuit related these days) but the smoking ones used to be awful.

Just tell that voice that you DO NOT want to smoke, that you WILL NOT smoke and that the conversation is over.

As for the blip issue, I don't think anyone that has smoked will be telling you that you're missing out - but hey, you know that already!

Hope it's going to be a better day for you today. Maybe treat yourself with some of that saved money?

It must be becoming easier. I forget half the time which day I am on, whereas in the first 2 weeks I knew almost to the minute how long since my last fag!! Now I dont much care, it's just another day in my new life as a non-smoker :p

Thanks Helen, I've been trying that, and I think I'm finally getting through to myself now. :) Sometimes I just won't listen to reason!

Having a better day today, must be because the sun's shining.

I have been quit for 2 Weeks, 6 Days, 3 hours and 23 minutes (20 days). I have saved £104.52 by not smoking 402 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 9 hours and 30 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 04/01/2008 11:45

Doesn't it make such a huge difference. The sun's out here at last and everyone has really brightened up - well that and the fact we found some crisps :D
