Hi all, l did a really stupid thing last night. Guess what? I only forgot to take my tablet!!! I don't know if it is all in the mind, or not taking the tablet, but this morning has definately been worse than yesterday. I'm blaming Buffy for this, encouraging me to drink Brandy & Coke. Tee Hee
Know what you mean Buff When I quit Last time my two youngest children banned smoking in there houses. But when I was smoking again it was hard staying in their houses for long. So Sad really just shows it controils our lives. BUt NOT NO MORE. Linda
Hi Josie
How you feeling today hope you taken tablet now Linda xxxxxxxxxx
*snigger* apologies Josie I hope the Brandy was worth it
Take the tablet and strive on x x x x you'll be fine, stay strong x x x x
If it gets difficult, have another brandy lollol
~Buffy x x
Indeed Linda, I am glad of it though, imagine being able to spend as much time as you like with the ones we love without feeling the need to rush off?!
I know John not good lol this time round I am going to try and keep a bit of a lid on the alcohol and food! I still have the weight gain from last quit can't put that all on again!!
However they do say that red wine is good for you  my mistake is differentiating between 1 glass and 1 bottle
Well yes ... I do have a fair few wine bottles in my recycling by the end of each week. But I find having a little one running about does tend to prevent you from going too far (1st and foremost you have to be able to get up early in the morning). So a warm buzz by the end of the evening is not such a bad thing in my mind, I mean the plan was to give up smoking not to become a monk!! Food wise I snacked, but then I really needed to as I had lost too much weight, I just need to get back into the squash/lunchtime swim long term etc.. to keep it somewhere I want it.
Nope no nappies TG :D!!!! I have a full on 4 year old ....who's still up and about by 6:30 each morning, which would be a nightmare after a heavy session.
More curves Buffy!!! Nothing wrong with that... As a bloke I do find it odd why the fashion industry is constantly trying to make women look under fed... I guess it means they dont need so much material to make their clothes but think you'll find most of the male population prefer a more healthy fed look!
Hi there to all the girls on day 2, Buffy, Josie, Linda, Flippy - you will all be just fine, never forget the first week is the real bitch and then things become amazingly easier and that's a fact You just hang in there and keep busy! I for one am thinking about starting to knit or something like that because I really need to stop eating the evenings away hehehe :o
I was bought a bookatrix cardmaker and a boxmaker so everyone got posh cards 4 xmas . Oh and theyve opened this HUGE hobbycraft on the retail park in nereby Stevenage. Pure Heaven!!!
My nearest is croyden which is over an hour train ride. prolly get to stevenage in the same time
Theres no hobby shops left around here, If I had the money, I would open up my own shop.
I got all the cards, toppers n papers in for cards. It's good because the kids could all join in and produce nice cards. I did origami stars too to top them.
My eldest daughter loves making beads with me too.
I get a load of my stuff online cos b4 hobbycft there weren't any craft shops.I,ll send you a list of good web sites. QVC have reg craft hours (sky630) on every Tues pm 2-4 with Dawn Bibby.
I don't have sky anymore I used to watch createandcraft when i did they have a great website too and you can watch online. I do mine online too, cos I have too *sigh* but you can't beat wondering the aisles looking at all that stuff *sigh*!
I watch dawn when i get the chance, i have btvivion now so i may well record it hehe
Heres some 'Canes' I made the other day (found me cable :D) when I pottered off on day1 to make some, and the second pic is a test bead and a napkin ring i made with the cane.
