I've just assaulted my husband!

My hands are in worse shape than he is and I managed not to rip his shirt (this time!).

Six minutes ago the shop shut, so my chances of buying cigs are zero unless I drive 20 minutes to the nearest large town! Oh how I wish I'd never given up!!!!

oh Linlin i know how you feel. we were decorating the other week, both quit days apart and the pressure reached critical mass. I went for him with wallpaper scraper. didnt do much damage [ broke the scraper] but the frustration had me crazy. I can be violent if the red mist decends but thats an issue i have to deal with cigs or no cigs. was this out of characer for you ? or are you like me with more demons than just nic lurking ?

Thanks for your messages - it's good to know some real humans are out there.

Today is yet another day of being hard as nails, bitchy when needed and watching my back. Divorce looms, but that's been the case for the last two plus years....going on 30!

It doesn't help that I'm dealing with last minute glitches, settlement offers, consent orders and possibly crook solicitors in a court case I'm having to deal with, because I'm (yet again) clearing up after another of hubby's disasterous decisions. The hearing is set for tomorrow and I'm one phone call away from a bit of final advice which will hopefully mean I don't need to attend.

Having been bullied and manipulated for years I've turned the tables........I will NOT take physical or mental abuse anymore!

......doesn't stop me craving tho......

Oh linlin I'm so sorry to hear you are having such a hard time What a terribly stressful situation - all the more congrats for being this strong and not smoking

Just keep in mind that you'd only feel so depressed if you gave in and lit up! Be proud of your strenght and determination instead. xxx
