Knowing I have made the first week smoke free, I feel so Happy & proud. I have found it hard and could have give in on a few occasions quite easy, but NO I took deep breaths and kept reminding myself why I wanted to stop and telling myself
“I can do this†just keep positive stop and think smoking will kill me one day.
So here I am on day 8 so proud of myself cos it’s the longest I have gone, in the past I have given in before I reached day 6.
My downsides
Not been sleeping too well tossing & turning most nights, getting up far too early and feeling tired all day.
Feeling hungry could eat for England, drinking loads & needing the loo more, now have a grotty chest coughing so good I can out do the dog next door (barking) and feel full of cold.

Aw congrats roxy for doing so great! IMO things get kinda easier from day 8 on. You sound strong, and the downsides are really just temporary. They do go away, and the brain remains the only thing able to every now and then play tricks on us, but all we gotta do is keep being happy and proud and strong and never forget why we decided to quit
We quit smoking the same day. I don't know why but I'm finding today to be a very hard day. How about you?????: Like you I'm eating my way through and that is hard for me as I obsess about my weight. I will keep in touch.
