I am back!! But for how long?

I gave up smoking about 3 months ago and lasted for about 3 weeks (cold turkey) and after having a damn fine past two months I am considering having another go at giving up tomorrow.

Last time this forum helped alot... It was another reason to give up, just being able to talk and post messages about the whole experience.

Time to get the coffee machine out and brush the dust off it (Wheres my damn wife when you need her... :eek: ) Oh sexist comment, I'm in trouble again... Only joking ladies...

Oh and if Buffy gets a chance to read this post, it looks like I am going to have a daughter to go with my 5 yr old son in December. Had to find out whether it was a boy or a girl... I'm a man, impatient, brain of a peanut, what can I say (Oh, another sexist comment, sorry guys, however this time I did mean it). I remember the day of the scan well, straight down to the shops to get all the pink cute clothing.... Hahaha....

Back to business, hopefully I will have a good night sleep (not likely with my son), hopefully I will wake up feeling strong and refreshed (quite possible) and hopefully I'll remember that I might want to give up smoking...

Remember how you got through the days last time, how close you came to buying that baccy? but they didn't have it ! hehehehe

You laughed and smiled and drank without your baccy then and will do again.

I do hope you do not give up giving up and that you don't keep the proccess of quitting make you suffer for much longer.

Mature Adult!!!!!

Steady on Buffy, Mature adult, I find that mildly insulting....

I have decided (Under peer pressure!) that tonight will be the night for another attempt.

My lucky number is 8 and at 8pm on the 08/08/07 I will give up.

What's that I hear!!! All of you thinking why I didn't pick 8am on the 08/08/07 ????

Well let me tell you all, I did, and lasted 22 minutes this time :confused:

Not the best of starts but there is progress....

Seriously though, I will attempt to put a bit more effort in tonight than I did this morning and the other morning and the time before that, and so on and so on.....

I will keep everyone up to date with my progress... So check back at 8:25pm tonight ....
