Hi all thanks for the kind words in day 3.....

Day 4 started great but has gone down hill now, i feek very mardy and just want to tell everyone to go aware....

Well talking from my personal experience (which isn't much) I found that day 8 onwards was a big change for me. I am currently on day 12 and since Monday this week I really haven't had too many cravings or moods.

However I will say that I'd would have probably been alright from day 6 onwards, its just that I let my guard down at the weekend and done some shopping with my family and my 5 yr old boy really applied some pressure.

Looking back, I should have avoided any situation that was going to put me over the edge and kept my self busy with things that I could handle.

So hang in there, I reckon the first few days are the worst. And you're already ploughing through them.

I also found that changing my drinking habits made a big difference. I always drunk Coca Cola and associated a new drink with a smoke, but now I drink Coffee and the odd can of Red Bull through out the day. And now when I have a drink I don't think about smoking.

I suppose one thing that might be worth asking yourself is whats different between this morning and this afternoon? Have you had more time this afternoon to think about things... Assess the bad times and then plan around those situations in the future...

Probably heard it all before, but there might be a couple of things that help.

Thanks for the kind words and yes i give up last time on day 5 so i am hopeing for a better day, i still feel rather shit today but i will plod along hr by hr...
