Hello welcome to week 2! I am sure justins doing fine, he's probably still hiding from his wife! hehe
Both of us doing fine thanks, wife is very strong minded and will do this easier than me.She has quit 4 times cold turkey but started again, once after 2 years. We are older and wiser now
poo, it's annoying when we start again after doing so well!
I too feel older and wiser now, health risks feel pretty real these days! here's hoping I stay quit for the rest of my life with the rest of us all here!
Well Done to Mrs Justin too x x glad she's doing so well x x

I agree, health issues mean more as you get older and smoke.I had a permanent cough and lately a couple of lung infections so after given an all clear x ray i knew i needed to give up.
Day 9 for me now, and hopefully for Justin and Mrs. Justin!
I'll stop posting until I get into the next forum up now
Hehe Nice one P-j,
Don't feel you have to stop posting!! I need something to look forward to when I hit my 'new posts' link! Others may well need you to post a reply in support too!

Hehe okay.
But the only way to truly quit is to forget about it... and you can't do that if you regularly post to a forum
That's just the way I see it!
See you in week 3 then.I still think about cigs but for me this is great because normally i would be going up the wall on day 1 and smoking 4 hours later, day 9 and all i do now is think about them sometimes.Another thing different this time is i cant stand the smell of them,so bad i cant be near one without feeling very sick.Just before i quit they tasted bad, just like when you first try to smoke, but the smell now is like nothing i have known before
Day 10!
Justin, it's exactly the same for me. Thinking about a smoke, but certainly wouldn't contemplate buying any. I can go about an hour to an hour and a half without thinking about it, but when it does hit you it hurts a bit! The smell varies from day to day. Sometimes it smells like heaven itself, but others it smells like a rotting corpse. It's weird, eh?
I'm on the patches though, so I'm surprised I'm getting such a similar experience to you.
Oh well, either way, we'll come out the other side
I made it to week 2!
Well done P-J!
We know you can do it! Everyone at No Smoking Day is thinking of all you guys. Don't forget to check out the website for tips and share your new ones on the forum!
