hi i'm on champix too to be honest i've found it really easy on them(:eek: not bragging! i mean i hope it will be easy for you too! the first couple of days were the hardest of all, but i think it more of breaking the habit than having a ciggie.

but now 6 weeks since my last ever ciggie, it's great, i even went out at the weekend and was on the smoking balcony at the pub we were at, tellling all the smokers to get to the doctors and get the champix!! didn't bother me at all!! and i was really tipsy at the time! (well more than tipsy when i got home!!)but i didn't even crave a fag.

you've chosen your stop date, so when you get to it, be honest to yourself! strong & positive! and keep posting on here, its great for extra support, it helped me!

right... good luck and stay strong!! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Hi Dolly and poskit. I too am on champix (see braces thread for explanation)I started this morning and my quit day is next weds (3 oct). I haven't felt sick (yet) although I'm not looking forward to the dreams I'll have tonight. Did you dream ??

mmmmmmmmm strange!

i've not had any vivid dreams at all!:confused: or if i have? i just don't remember?

i'am a bit cheesed off at the moment though

since been on the champix i'd stopped biting my fingers nails( as had befly)and they were lovely, i was looking after them, painting them & making them look nice!

but last night i did what befly did) i bit them all off!!! and now i wished i hadn't,but it could have been worse i suppose, and i could have had a dirty,horrible,smelly fag!

but no!! i didn't and i didn't want one either.

right i'll catch u all later,gonna see if i can get some sleep.

night(or morning!!) which ever!!

yeh i know!!:mad: my nails were the best i'd ever had them!

i broke one while i was out & it was annoying me, so i thought mmmm i'll just nibble that bit off that i keep catching & just let it grow back:confused:

but i just carried on till they'd all gone!:eek:

not to worry, though i'll just try to leave them alone.

anyway hope you're all doing okay? and not getting tempted by the dreaded nicotine monster!

at least i did'nt fall by the wayside and only bit my nails(and i did'nt go to the shop and smoke a packet of fags ) i can grow my nails back.

NOOOOOO! U SILLY BOU! i did'nt eat them together! the nails would get stuck in the toffee!!! uuuuugh!!

i only went to the fridge to get it, not the shop!! otherwise i would have got u one!!

Good luck Dolly - Champix is great - I'm on day 45 now and stopped taking Champix about 3 weeks ago.

i think i've recruited another new "non-smoker" to be

one of our friends have just been, e was out in the garden havin a fag i was telling him about champix , n this website, anyway he's taken the booklet out of my champix tablets n e says e's gonna go to the docs to get some.

so i am still spreading the word! "SMOKING'S BAAAAD FOR YOU!!!!:mad:

anyway i'm off now going to town with my daughter (might treat myself to something new to wear!) if i can get something that fits after all that choccy!!
