I just made a mistake! Now I am back to day one and nothing will stand in my way. I really cannot wait for the day when I can say, "no, I don't smoke".

Welcome back Ethan
How long did you stay smoke free?
We'll all get there, together, onwards and upwards x x
You sound really determined this time. I am sure you can do it. Think of all the benefits. Keep positive
i don't smoke.
hon, start saying i don't smoke today, 'cause it's true!!!
i actually started saying that about a year ago to get myself used to it. i'd light one and say to myself, 'you know, i don't smoke'... people asked for a butt and i say 'really, i don't smoke' and than gave them one. people thought it was strange, but i liked to think of it as tricking myself into believing it!
Hehe Boudee lol Great minds think alike!
I was just thinking the same thing as i puzzled the logic over and over in my mind to try and see an obvious link.
lol yup just like that
don't do it guys!!!
i read somewhere about the power of words... by saying it over and over again you trick yourself.
by that logic, you'll trick your self into smoking agaain!!!
ah i see hehe
My brain would probably pop at the amount of stuff i would like to tell it to believe!
hehe
Hows the quit going hester?
going great! day 6 is here!!! yesterday was the first time in 15 years i gave my hair a dye job without sitting back and having a couple of smokes... that was kind of weird!
Rofl it's funny the things we discover we used to associate smoking with!
hey day 6! that's pretty cool! so tomorrow will be 1 week done! major hurdle accomplished! nice one, Well done!
Bet your feeling pretty pleased with yourself

That's the way to go. Never give up. Nothing should stand in your way in your endeavor to quit smoking. I tried 3 times, and finally succeeded on the fourth.
Try getting your friends and family members to support and encourage you. Also, read up on some tips. I find this free guide to be very useful quitsmokingaids.org/
Good luck,
Viz
Welcome vizmon,
Maybe you could start a thread to introduce yourself properly that would be nice
The whole point of this site is to offer you support and encouragement, tips and advice!
If you want to look for other advice on the net I am sure there are many sites on the internet that have no sign ups, I would far prefer use those.
One step at a time each hour as it comes, Give up anyway you find works for you. NRT is available on prescription now I am sure that's for a very good reason! ie it works for a great number of people who want to quit!
