Here again eh.......we'll all be stopping smoking soon at this rate!

Well this is my Day 6 and that means I got through working week unscathed and cig free.

Onwards and upwards to Day 7.....

End of Day 6

Well thats the end of day 6 and thought I'd write update as i woke up this morning at 4.30am! Real problem sleeping as you can tell......didnt think the sleep problem would be as bad....but staying positive as it's been the only con to not smoking.

Today went well and was the first time in ages that me and the "better half" could spend more than 15mins in a shop together...she enjoyed not having me rushing her just so that I could get back out and have a fag!

Also visited relatives today and they were impressed that I had stopped smoking......feel good factor and praise does help.

Well now into Day 7.........main aim......to get to Day 8......great!

I'm with and alongside you

Still with you. Not posting every day but after your welcome support and response to my day 4 I thought I'd congratulate you for sticking with it and let you know I'm also remaining fag free. Coughing has all but stopped completely and apart from the badly discoloured lumps of phlegm I keep dredging up there is no problem. The odd thought but little in the way of an urge to smoke. I think I have my impulse control back again now and as you say, its my choice, so I'll maintain my choice to stay smoke free.
