Sorry to hear. I haven't had rituxan yet.

You could try benfotiamine (from 100mg to 1g), alpha lipoic acid, acetyl l carnitine to support neuropahy.

Allitiamine or lipotiamine as b1 may help too. Maybe look at getting a comprehensive blood panel done for b12, folate, b6 and other vitamins, minerals and a nutritional coach. It might help. Best of luck.

I’ve had Rituxan several times without those symptoms, however, I did have them with Neuprogen. Usually Rituxan made me feel like I had the flu so be sure to contact you oncologist about your symptoms.

My first shot was the worst pain in my back area ever. I curled up in a ball on my side. then I ended up walking in the house, i think I walked 3 hours before the spasms in back went away

I had treatments almost two years ago and I had extreme burning pain in my upper body ended up I emerge.. they didn’t have a clue what to do ..loaded me up with pain meds some of which I didn’t take because of their “don’t know what to do” attitude seemed to think that was the best option. When I went back for by third treatment, I told them my symptoms and they said they felt it wasn’t the treatments. It was not pleasant. I shall say a prayer for you. Benydral did help a little ..

Hi I am on maintance every 2 mth I have headacre and leg pains for three to four days.

As I have had Polymalgia for a number of years I thought this was the problem. Dr agrred that I take 25g Predisone day of treatment then for 2 days after this seems to help. I do keep the three days after treatment free just incase i do not feel well. Good luck.
