Back in February I nearly commenced a 4 week course of this therapy, but after a PET-CT scan the decision was changed. Look for up the Ardeshna study carried out by London hospital. This treatment can delay the need for full chemo, it is not exactly remission but in this respect the impact may be confused for similar. Also, note this is different from post treatment 2 years maintenance.

Yes! I was diagnosed in March of 2018... had stage 4, grade 3a. Completely asymptomatic, only knew i had the disease because of a swollen lymph node in my neck. One doctor advised R-CHOP, another advised trying just Retuximab for one month. I was conflicted, but opted to do only the Retuximab...and I've been fine since then. Blood tests every four months show good numbers and all nodes are "quiet"... I'm feeling great, still no symptoms...and hardly ever think about having FL!

Given that my bloodwork is all good and no signs of lymph node swelling...I guess I am in remission, yes. I never have had any pain at all. No fatigue, no pain. I feel very lucky in that way.

Do your scans show lumps have all gone?

Yes. I had SMZL and was treated with four rounds of Rituximab followed by two year’s maintenance. I’ve been in remission for almost three years. Recent blood work and CT scans are all normal.

That is greaaat! Is SMZL another kind of non hodkings lymphoma??

Yes, it’s Splenic Marginal Zone Lymphoma. One of the many different types of Non-Hodgkins Lymphomas.

I wish you the best for your treatment and healing!

Yes having the FNHL reappear after 34 years of no treatment, I had 5 treatments with Rituxan in 2017. Have been in remission ever since. I have a Petscan coming up on September 9th as well as blood work. Will let you know if still clean and clear.

Wow. 34 years and no treatment! I do like knowing that. Very uplifting. Although, given that I was diagnosed at age 67... I'm not expecting 34 years more of anything! But great to know.

Wishing you all the best. The treatment left me exhausted for a few weeks but then slowly felt fine and as Fannylmn said, I forget about having it most of the time.

It is wonderful to know that the rituxan works by itself. As to being tired, babies won’t notice as they make you tired all by themselves. So great to know you will be around to watch them grow.❤️

I too have B-cell NHL. Symptom was extreme fatigue. 4 rounds of Rituxan a year ago. All scans and bloodwork look great! It did take me a good year to feel better but I don't think about my NHL much anymore.
