I am a big tea drinker. I am slowing it down to stop completely.

Heading should read. " SOME TEAS HAVE HIGH LEVELS OF PESTICIDES".

I drink decaf green tea everyday (tea bag). I know there is a lot of info out there on high levels of lead in certain teas, especially from China. It would be helpful if you could provide the source of your information or possibly a link so we all could read.

Two great Consumer sources. One is Labdoor.com which free. Another is Consumerlab.com which charges a small annual fee. If you want only tea bag info use Consumerlab.com. Both sources independent organizations that do not take donations from manufacturers.

I used to drink a lot of green tea but found it was making me nauseous. I read that high doses can cause liver problems. However, a couple of cups a day should be okay. You can get the organic brands but they are expensive. Some of them have unbleached paper tea bags as well. There is some concern also about plastics in tea bags. Sigh..... Is anything safe to eat or drink nowadays? The organic ones are probably low in or free from pesticides.

I use empty unbleached tea bags and put a teaspoon of the tea in each one and find I can regulate the strength better.

I drink at least 3 cups of green tea a day. A lot of evidence says green tea is particularly good for NHL. Never drank it before my diagnosis
