Hi, I am interested in finding out how others found their recovery after completing r-epoch chemo treatment. i am 3 months post chemo and still find myself fatigued and dealing with very intense hot flashes all day and night.

I finished r-epoch in August 2016. It took me a year to not feel fatigued. I still have hot flashes at night, but they are not as intense as they were. Please be patient, you will start to feel more energy as the months go on. Take care of yourself, know your limitations. There are still days when I listen to my body and stop to rest. Wishing you all the best!

Hi, I’m out of treatment (remission) 1 year and 3 months. I had r-epoch for 6 sessions... and I’m now in chemo induced Menopause too (43 years old) The hot flashes were pretty intense. My obgyn put me on a small dose of progesterone which took about a month or two to kick in. But has worked really well since then... except for me gaining weight...which could be just me. She didn’t want to give me any estrogen until 1 year later ... ( more dangers of blood clots after chemo she said) which I am actually seeing her this week to add or change the hormones or allow me to use something more natural . I would check with your OBGYN or An endocrinologist to see if they can help you... the fatigue will definitely go away though. Best of luck!
